Destroying slaver transports

Hum, I dunno where the 'putting slaves in containers' bit came from, but ah...that's, interesting.

To my understanding, slaves are held in the cargo hold, I know My slaves are shoved in there, given a worn blanket and a crappy pillow and forced to stay in the hold the entire journey, so yeah if my Slave Liner popped open, they'd all die, as would my crew, etc etc, and don't get me wrong when you read this, I'm not complaining, I'm just stating the facts as I see them.

To me, advanced trains, pirate trains, pirate trainsports etc, (with the exception of slave liners, but then you'd be giving your cardamine gas flasks a pillow and a blanket on the way back) stack what ever they carry in containers.
If you have a big hold, you wouldnt stack the people on top of each other because the ones at the bottom would die from crushing or drown in the poop of the people who are on top of them. If you dont stack you would only be filling your cargo hod to something like 10th full capacity. So, you would put them in containers and stack the containers on top of each other, unless your ship already is just kind of container tug like the advanced train. The most efficient way to transport slaves through space would be to put them in something like a cheap basic tincan container with minimal life suport and maybe some tranquilizers, and treat those as normal cargo crates.
Also... when you pop a slave ship, as what do you see the slave cargo in space? Not as dead bodies.

Sure a slaveship captain could make sure his slaves all die when his ship gets attacked or drives disabled or destroyed. But... he has absolutely no reason to do it, if his own life and ship are not in danger, but only his cargo, and he could just walk away unharmed and get on with his life after he dropped the slaves.

And anyway... if you know and the slaver knows that lawfuls wont shoot and have no other way of stopping slavers... guess what will happen...

Also: To the first bit about it being entirely up to the Slaver, yes that's indeed true in a sense, but who's to say they shouldn't be able to RP the whole situation out, to see where it goes, I mean, who's to say it -has- to end a certain way, again, don't get me wrong, when I have been caught (usually outside of House Space) and it's demanded that I release my Slaves, I'll do it. I'm generally cooperative about things like that, as Kaisha, the captain of my Pilgrim is Smug, she's not stupid.

But yeah, if the 'Slaver' chooses to make no attempt at RPing the situation out after he or she has been caught, and they just try to run, and they get killed, then yes, it is their fault so they have no right to complain.

But if a Slaver is trying to RP and just gets blown to hell anyway? Well then I think it's okay to complain a bit.

Thats the thing about discovery...
EVeryone can say 'hola' and 'yer' instead of 'hello' abd 'your' and RP some half-assed stereotype and consider himself a RP genius, and then he will go around screaming bloody murder when he loses a pvp or gets busted as a smuggler and file a rule violation report that the other persons sentenses didnt contain 'hola' and 'yer' when he was... "not RPing right"... when he asked a space ship captain to free the slaves in his hold.

Of course you can and should RP when you get stopped, but does that automatically mean that you will be let through with your cargo?

Here is my experience with cardislavers:

Type 1 (90%):
You RP as a lawful trying to free the slave in someones hold. The guy either runs without a word till he gets blown up, manages to dock and pms you '// ha ha ha you lolwutting noob', says 'just kill me now I dont wanna fly back', stall by very slow typing untill the maltesian lolfleet arrives, or says 'gtfo you CR fag people are trying to play a game here you know'

Type 2 (5%):
They make a little RP, maybe run or drop the cargo or not, maybe a little fight or not, but the encounter ends with a friendly pm afterwards

Type 3 (5%):
They say 'hola' or 'yer' when trying to run from you, but dont make it. Then they pm you telling you that you just made a HUGE mistake by bugging their powertrading! They are very very popular and powerful on this server and will now destroy you and your faction with flameposts and intreague. Now you better bend over and pull your pants down if you know whats good for you.
