-USA far from server
-On standard DSL
-Mid hight level system, 3 core 3.0ghz, gtx 260 216 , 4gb ram home built cheap
I still get a ping 140-180.

So your on a horrible connection (dial up?)
Or a very old PC.

Post your PC specs and maybe some people could suggest some budget upgrades.:)
