LFs can survive longer that Cruisers. Get one instead. I am sick of that "everyone will want to kill me so I want a bigger ship" bull. I have a "terrorist" in a Kingfisher, ffs.
Also , a Cruiser seems a bit too much. Maybe a gunboat? A Zoner one? That seems neutral and easily acquirable. Just say you hijacked it or tricked a salesman or whatever. Don't really know who your character is, so I can't tell which alternative suits best.
