I'm not quite sure how to test this with any finality. If Nightfall is right and it is the same problem with every vanilla ship, meaning damage gets multiplied by the number of sections within the blast radius, then its a problem that gets amplified by the Kus BS's unique shape. The two bottom rear fins are connected through the aft half of the main hull so you can hit the connection spot and damage both sections at the same time (right?)
