The path of Prospector

[Doom]

Prospector was docked in dock bay 4 at Ouray base. Most of its guns and other equipment was stripped down. Ship looked like naked. More then 20 people moved around it doing repairs on, what appeared, very heavily damaged gunboat. Two technician were dismantling ships engines.

-What could have caused this kind of damage?- First technician asked

-I don't know. Ship looks like it went thru hell. Whole hull is damaged by explosions, not energy weapons. Looks like missiles or mines. But what ever it was, ship got quite a beating.

-Could you pass me that wrench. I have damaged exhaust here. Thanks.

York approached to lonely technician that worked on ships computer.

- Can you restore its data? I know it is very damaged.

- Well, sir, computer core is fried. There are some chance that some data was saved, but if it is, it will be scrambled.

- Restore what you can. I need this ship up and running in two days.

Technician continued work on computer. Ten times he was trying to power it up without success. Eleventh time computer screen flickered, turned bright red and then went white. One red dot was blinking in upper left corner of the screen. Technician was confused. Dot blinked few more times and then words appeared on screen.
