Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status

As the Guildmaster that tried the hardest to redeem Apocalypse_Now in game, I simply have this to say to all the members of the Apocalypse wing.

Read the rules of operation of the BHG|Core. It is in our rules of operation that we do not operate or group with indies. (And yes, I know sometimes individual members, especially those who aren't active in Skype much, if at all, have done that. When we find out, we chastize or deal with the situation away from the forums - we don't need to add to the drama here.)

We are an official faction, with official ownership of the system Omega-56. This also means that we do have all the rights and responsibilities of an official faction, as listed at http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=21888. Please note VERY carefully right number 2.

RIGHT 2) Official factions have authority over players of the same NPC affiliation, as long as RP justification is provided. This authority applies in forums and in-game, and applies to player faction diplomacy, and strategic and tactical direction. However, exercise of that authority, on the forums and in game, is restricted to official faction members with the rank of the official faction leader and one rank below him/her. The authority may be exercised through the use of in-game in-RP orders, which, if not obeyed, can result in in-game in-RP consequences (arrest, court martial, and even "lethal" force in extreme circumstances). Official Factions cannot, under any cicrumstances, require another player to follow non-canon RP if that player doesn't want to.

At ALL times RP justification was provided for all orders given to the initial Apocalypse wing. At ALL times, these orders were strictly in line within the limits of the Guild Guard ID. At ALL times, these orders were given by either the official faction leader or one rank below him. (Meaning for those of you who may actually be new to the forums, Athenian (Graves), Tic (Jones), or myself (DeVirgo). The Guild Guard is a quasi-military force, as has been defined by the ID and the role play. Now, read the rest of it...

Now,to switch hats a minute. Many of you recently started your forum accounts, based upon whatever reasoning you may have had at the time that your account would tie in with your character. (You know who you are.)

Here's an offered deal - the same one I was offering Kurtz. Lose the Apocalypse tag. Those ships are valuable Core resources in our war with the Order. You may even have to downsize for a while. That won't be too much of an imposition on you - apparently you powertraded enough to get those cap ships in the first place. Apply for probationary status here. http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=34165 . Show a little humility, accept the demotions as if it were a real court martial, and guess what? You may get accepted back in to the community. And in the meantime, you may actually learn how a faction that has pulled the Bounty Hunter rep out of the sewer and septic tank that the DW put it in operates. There's a reason we have 40 plus memebers, and nearly 200 combat ships total available.

We expect members to play the role of a bounty hunter in a manner that reflects the stated aims and character of the faction. We operate all over Sirius so we expect to encounter many diverse factions. Suitable RP in-game is a must. Repeated out of roleplay behaviour and you are out.
It's taken us a long time to acquire the reputation we have. No one is going to jeopardise that. Sure, we all make mistakes, and if you are new to the server. we'll help you as much as possible. But act like a nubtard and we'll show you the door.
