Independent + Faction comparisons

Pros:
- Most trading factions will give you a good transport for free (DHC for example gives you a 4000 cargo once you join).
- In most trading factions you will have free escorts.
- Some will even give you a miner or escort if you want to set it aditionally from the transport
- Acces to the factions' list of routes (secret routes)
- Since a faction will give you more RP presence, you will have less trouble with local militaries
- Militant factions will set your fighter funded from their money
Cons:

- You cant go everywhere
- Unlawfuls will see you millions of light years away on the players window (dont tell mw you dont :laugh:)
- You are expected to have a higer level of RP(not that it really is a con) and not having it will get you and the faction in trouble.

Apart, I think what AJbeast means is that since you have a faction tag, pirates will no know how to react adn how you react i.e the bowex shires that convoy and beat the crap out of pirates.
