IMG has its own Guard system, called Tau 39, you can obtain an Argus Battlecruiser there if you need capital ships.

Tau-44 is the Guard system of the Colonial Republic, therefore 'properly ID'd and IFF'd' players would need to wear the flag of the Colonial Remnant.
There are no Colonial independent players and the IMG are also not the Colonial Remnant.
The Colonial Remnant may use every force they deem necessary to guard this system from every trespasser.
Tau 44 is owned by CR. Your ships are not welcome untill given permission. You get the deal? Good.
