Wouldn't tossing the "/l" function make people more prone to lolwuting?
I mean, nowadays as a pirate, I can stay in systems for eternities, however, with system, I revert back to the "You have 20seconds to hand over the cash before the police get here and I have to kill you to make a point."
If traders weren't so hellbent on making profits, perhaps they could slow up if they got caught by a pirate so those of us trying can actually talk to them without the constant.
"What" and "Heh, try and kill me"
Edit: The classic, let me just transfer these funds and *calls BHG on comms*
Booster Shove.
It makes our time hell, and I certainly don't like to pew pew. I hate telling a person they have 20 seconds. It just ruins the fun. But, sometimes I have to do it: they're a powertrader or just a bad sport.
/l Is essential for better RP.
So it's not the function that ruins us, it's people not trying.
/l Is dynamic. You don't scream at a person in a crowd of people to give him cash. You whisper.
Plus it's terrible to go to private chat.... scrolling
