"Greetings, friends!"
A firm, friendly voice speaks. A young man, looking about 25, in a black suit and a bright red and blue striped tie steps in. The background is a simple Libertonian flag.
"This is Frank Slater speaking, reporting to you on all that's happening in Sirius today. As this is the first edition of our little show, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Frank Slater, Libertonian born and bred on Planet Denver in Colorado.
"This show will be regularly broadcast, Sirius wide, reaching to the farthest corners of Sirius. From New Tokyo to New Berlin to New London to Manhattan, the Omicrons, and everywhere in between, from my little ship.
"First order of business; if you have a story that you think needs reporting, send a private comm to Frank Slater any time! Donations accepted as well. Now, to the actual news.

[color=#990000]BREAKING NEWS

[color=#FFCC00]"A large fight was just concluded in the Magellan system, near Freeport 4. The fight was between some Mandalorian Mercenaries, some Bretonia Armed Forces pilots, a Lane Hacker, and a few Hellfire Legion members. The causes of the fight remain unknown. Halfway through the fight, the LNS Alluring Endeavour [sic] came out of nowhere, apparently having received a distress signal from a BAF ship. The Endeavour opened fire and nearly shot down a Hellfire Legion pilot, who recovered rather quickly.
"The Lane Hacker and the Legionnaires concentrated fire on the shields of the Endeavour, quickly disabling them. Their next target was the Endeavour's forward gun, and then the main hull itself. The Endeavour could not stand such punishment, and although to this point the captain of the Endeavour was very brave, he started to retreat. Eventually the Endeavour was nothing more than scrap metal, after being caught several times in the asteroid field. Here is a shot of the Endeavour in its final moments.

"Tune in next time for more exciting news! Until then, this is Frank Slater, signing off."
