Nothing there about RP rules on power gaming, meta gaming and the like beyond the tid-bits in faction rights, and even then the wording is vague on those subjects.

Specifically Number 3; If not addressed to you, your character doesn't know it. Using knowledge your character doesn't have is metagaming. So if an official faction tries to do that, they get sanctioned. Powergaming is also handled that way.

Nothing there talking about any kind of arbitration on RP level disputes.

Precisely because RP changes from one individual to another. If a faction player can prove that what an indy is doing is wrong, than the Indy is subject to the faction's power. If the indy proves that what he is doing is part of that NPC faction's canon, the official faction can't do anything against him, or they will be sanctioned.

It does say that Indies are allowed to exist, but nothing about their story lines, or their plot ideas contained there in.

Do you really think Indies aren't allowed storylines because it doesn't say they are? Rules work like this; If it says you can't do something, you can't. If it doesn't say you can't do something, you can. Isn't the bazillion RP stories written by indy characters proof enough of that?

And no warnings that if they should work on something that it can be struck down by Factions beyond a vague reference to Faction Canon.

It is the indy's responsibility to research his associated NPC faction to discover what is and is not allowed. These things aren't written on the forums, but in-game. Everything you're asking for it available in-game. Admins are not going to waste time making a post saying what every faction does do, does not do, and can not do when that information is readily available to anyone that is willing to put in the work in looking up the appropriate infocards and rumors.

Nope, there are plenty of rules out there that we are expected to just know, and can be arbitrarily changed. You yourself said there are hundreds of them.

There are hundreds of things people -can- do as that is what you're asking for. There are not hundreds of rules. Yes, you can use jump holes.. That's one. Yes, you can use jump gates, oh look another. Hundreds. And no one is going to compile a list of what you can do. That's your responsibility to find out, no one has to hold your hand and help you through the process of it. That's your job, not someone else's.
