Yesterday while transporting a shipment of engine components to Baltimore shipyard in New York, we had a rather strange incident in the Colorado system. At first the tradelane leading from Pueblo station to the New York jumpgate was disrupted by pirates who were luckily busy with some gaijin trader at that time. I activated the cruise engines and left the spot as soon as possible while an officer of the Liberty Navy arrived at the scene.
I expected him to engage the pirates, but instead he ordered us to stop! Since we were already docked with the tradelane we weren't able to follow the order until we arrived at the jumpgate. There he catched up and started to ask the usual questions concerning our cargo. But then he told us to stand by due to an ongoing investigation involving Samura in sabotaging Liberty structures! These accusations are an outrage, Kusari already has a war to fight and even though our Naval Forces are strong they don't have the time to take care of hostilities concerning Liberty too. Since we couldn't deny orders given by the Libertonian Law enforcement we lost time and money waiting in space for them to get their investigation to any result. Meanwhile the officer could have as well taken care of the criminals around, but it seems the Libertonians got used that much to their crime level the Navy doesn't even care about it anymore.
When we finally we allowed to pass on we were still observed and distrusted until we reached Baltimore. The place where from a naval escort actually would have been useful since we were entering the tradelane towards Planet Pittsburgh which is known to be sometimes heavily crowded by criminals.
I'll attach the radio transmission exchanged between the Libertonian officer and me in case any legal steps will be taken.
