Here's the way things work with the censor, at least this is my speculation and I'd be very surprised if I was wrong.
It monitors every connection going in and out of China, creating a massive crazy connection bottleneck. you got like half of 1.3 Billion people connecting to the net, half of that going outside china. Which is why its so slow when it connects to servers outside (like the Disco game server). If it sees anything related to anything they don't like (tian-an-men "incident," things that say bad stuff about China/communism/etc..., News reports about Tibet, Dali lama (sp is wrong I'm sure, sorry), etc... then it severs the connection. Now this can be a fun thing to do at school as the entire school's net would go down for about five minutes, but it really stinks while you're researching something for a project...
It's also got a blacklist of domains that it just won't connect to. Facebook, Youtube, freewebs, those sorts of things. apparently its safe to assume that your two sites are on said list for an unknown reason...
China blocks a ton of sites, it may be that it has a "whitelist" of cleared sites rather than a "blacklist" and that those two sites haven't been worth the effort of unblocking.
They probably see that it's a private domain and thus decided to block it.
Now if you were to post some articles about the benifits of Communism, the Good things Chairman Mao did, The Good of Deng xiao ping, the evilness of America for sticking its nose into others' business, and that sort of stuff, who knows, it might get unblocked as these are the things they like to see. (this would be a really fun experiment... I should try it sometime).
As it is China has no problems with DiscoGC. (it does with DiscoFL which really stinks cause of the Wiki...) so lets please refrain from talking about Communism/China in a bad way...;)I'd hate it if this got blacklisted.
