Let's start at the beggining. You can call me John Silver (for obviuos reasons thats not my birth name), I'm a former Ageira Technologies escort pilot. My life was simple, just fly and protect the company transport, kill anyone who wanders too close. I, like everyone else at the company, believed the propaganda, that we are helping building a better world and every pirate stands against this.
But then about a week ago, my simple life got a lot more complicated. We were escorting a transport as usual, from Pueblo Station to Planet Los Angeles. I thought everything was fine, we arrived safely, I was about to write my report, when my friend, who is also an escort pilot flying with me on this mission, contacted me. He said that the transports is missing, and the company directors are furious, we could even loose our job for this.
I strated investigating what happened to that transport. Every record of the ship docking at Los Angeles was deleted, I looked into the Ageira database and found that the ship was destroyed by pirates, every company personnel in the convoy died. I knew that aint looks good, since I was in the convoy and I'm still alive. I tried to contact my friend, but he was arrested and already transfered off-planet.
After this I wasnt even thinking, just ran to the nearest space dock and sneaked on the first transport I found. It was heading for Planet Manhattan, not the best choice I guess, but it was too late. By the time I arrived to Manhattan, there was a huge bounty on my head. I didnt know where to go, but I knew I have to get out of Liberty as soon as I can. I stole a Starflier from the nearest vendor, flew off to Rochester base, the only place I knew where police and bounty hunters werent present. Luckily some junkers helped me to get in touch with some rogues, who helped me get a new ship, an awesome Dagger, and showed me the way out of Liberty, escorting me to the Magellan system.
I didnt understand how I got so lucky to get out alive, but I was on my way to... actually nowhere, just far from Liberty. But then suddenly, out of nowhere 2 bounty hunters showed up in Hammerheads, they were probably behind me all the way and just waited for the rogues to clear off. I knew I couldnt beat them, but I was sure as hell, that I wont go to prison.. or worse. So I engaged them, ready to be vaporized into the asteroid field. And then suddenly a elegant ship appeared and immediatelly fired some rockets at the bounty hounters. They didnt even realize what was happening, blown in a second.
The captain of this mystery ship introduced himself as Mike Murdoc, a member of the Vagrant Raiders. He showed the way to Mactan Base, a Lane Hacker base, as I was informed. They said this base is a safe place for the enemies of Liberty, apparently thats what I am now. Looks like there are a lot of former Ageira employees here, I have listened to their stories to better understand the true nature of the Liberty corporations. I hope someone at the higher ranks can help me to finally start something useful with my life.

About the message... I'm sure you noticed that I used a member's ID to connect. I met Jon here, on Mactan Base. He offered me some Cardamine and I gladly accepted, though he really cant take much and passed out after a few minutes. I used this opportunity to hack into his not so well encrypted computer and send a message on this channel. And please dont be hard on him, I will help him improve his security, so this wouldnt happen again.
