Lawful Rheinland Gunship?

Although the number of gunboats in Rheinland is ever-increasing, the fighter and bomber numbers still reign supreme in this area. The Rheinland Gunboat is more of a ship designed to engage other gunboats and capital ships, instead of fighters and bombers. What we really need are small, agile gunships that can, with support from escorts, destroy fighter and bomber squadrons.

I was hoping to host a competition for designing this ship, and offering a 100 million credit reward (I know it's not much, but I'm poor). But before I did that, I wanted to gather opinions on the concept of lawful Rheinland authorities having access to a new gunship.

This could also work into the idea of each house having a special ship. Liberty already has the Assault Battlecruiser; which dealt with the constant capital ship raids on New York. Rheinland could have this gunship, and Bretonia, Kusari and Gallia could also be given a new ship each to suit their needs (I'm not very up-to-date with new ships being designed, so they may have been designed something new already).
