I'm all for this one! My only concern is it might sound a bit like an ambush to the trader if you're sending him anywhere remote? I was once sent away from the tradelane, only to find a pair of gunboats waiting there, just itching to get all nice and friendly. To be honest I should've known better.
Anyway, I'd gladly sell my wares on a pirate base rather than get muntered by my kidnapper, so it'd be interesting to see this put into practice!
