Because in a place like Sirius where almost every faction have at least one enemy, you are bound to use swear words pretty often. It is a place of constant war and conflict...

Yeah, just imagine, after your ship explodes and you lost an arm durning it... the radio channels are swarmed by "poo-poo, wha-wha you scum!"
