Rheinland is suffering from oppression at the hands of the Right. That the existing socio-political order is inherently unjust is obvious to workers, students, and all others exploited by this order. Decades of armed resistance on the left have failed to effectuate change -- indeed, the more violent our resistance, the more we lose popular support. Our comrades the Red Hessians have descended into banditry. In the eyes of the public, the Bundschuh is little different.
When one lacks the means to wage full-scale war, it is foolhardy to rely on the gun. Instead, we must harness the power of the word and propaganda of the deed. What if we substituted the radio for the turret and the cruise disruptor for the missile? We could both systematically drain the profits from the fascist economy by slowing trade to a crawl AND create an audience that will tell others that the Bundschuh are not led by bandits but rather by social reformers.
Volksfront! You stand at the vanguard of the Budschuh -- more politically aware, organized, and true to your purpose. I propose to join you. I was once a trader, using my Rheinland armored transport to fuel the system. I encountered Bundschuh, but much to my surprise they did not ask me for cargo or money. They wanted to talk. I heard of acrtivists shot down in the streets, of secret prisons for revolutionaries, and of radical students "disappeared" in the middle of night.
My path is already set. My armored transport will trade with Rheinland no more. Instead, it will house transmitters and activists. Our living conditions will be Spartan, but there is a certain irony to the term. I have left behind my name to protect those who were once close to me. Instead, call me Rosa Luxemburg, after the Spartacist heroine of so long ago. Her communism may be outmoded, but her role in the movement for social democracy may inspire others. This is a movement that needs such political symbols.
Will you call me your sister, Volksfront? Can we not cooperate in the struggle against the Right? Together, we can slow trade to a crawl and trasmit our message across the worlds of Rheinland. There is no force in the universe more powerful than a people united. Let us bring the virtues of democracy, social justice, and tolerance back to our worlds!
