Nova torps are actually epic for piracy. Either the transport dies in one shot, or has all it's turrets blown off after a Nova hit, which leaves him defenseless. And pirates like defenseless transports right? :)

EDIT: To keep on topic, yes, for dual torp slot bomber with CD you mount... Supernova and Nova. You have no other choice now. (Oh well, you could mount Supernova and two CDs, three CDs or Dual Novas also, but that's completely useless)
