A short, young Japanese woman enters the tavern looking rather unnerved by the loud explosion in the street. Explosions of any kind were uncommon around the Emperor's Golden Garden. Kimiji prefered it that way. Calm and quite made for a much safer and more serene environment.
She came up short as she saw yet another unfamiliar sight. Gaikokujin almost never trespassed into the eastern section. Kimiji slipped quietly to the eastern side, staying far enough from the gambling foreigner to maintain appearances, and knelt at a table, pulling out several documents. After arranging them side by side she let out a big sigh.
"Sometimes I wish I had just taken my father's advice and joined the military..." she muttered, while staring down at the two applications titled "Samura" and "Kishiro."
Sighing again she settled in to read over all the literature on both companies again and wait for the waitress.
