Aboard the Consortum command liner Tetshuo

The bridge was a very quiet, desolate place. All non-critical systems have been powered down, with radiation shielding on maximum. The view from the bridge was dark, with all but a handful of computers shut down completely, and the faint glow of emergency lighting marking the doors. The area was dead quiet, with the only person onboard being a junior officer sitting in the cozy captain's chair, watching over a handful of still-powered screens showing the status of the ship's critical systems and shielding.

The onboard neurocyte node was similarly powered down. A faint humming could be heard from it if you listened closely, as it was running on minimal power.

Outside of the ship, an ionic storm rages. The liner's lack of an energy signature combined with the ionic storm made the Tetshuo practically invisible to scanner technology.
