Honestly, I havent seen BHG really hunting for contracts or offering services. But thats just me. We have mined in T23 and mined already about total of maybe 2 billion credits already. No escort at all. No one pirates our route, and group of 2-3 atlas ships can be pretty deadly to single pirate. And if we need, we get a gunboat to run with us. Thats just how it works for us.

Honestly, mining became a ubermoneygrind as of late. Without much effort, we managed to make 200 mililions in matter of 2 days while still playing our other chars, and most importantly, unopposed. No one really trades now, everybody mines and rest is trying to steal the mined goods. Escorts are nice, but single fighter cant stop a bomber from destroying the cargo ship fast enough.
