She told him of the one time that Kentaro snuck her to Hokkaido to view the clouds there.
"They were beautiful," she commented, "and it was my only trip there."
She then sighed again as she began the story of her brother's death as a look of sorrow and despair crossed her face.
"Kentaro was very good pilot. When no one was with him, he would disappear to fight Corsair and Outcast raiders and return captured pilots for money. He was too good as he was conscripted to fight against Bretonia."
She then looked downward, trying to maintain her composure. After a brief pause, she looked back up, still with her look of sorrow, "Kentaro was killed in the Taus by the Bretonian Navy. At least, we think so. His ship was confirmed destroyed but his body was never found or recovered."
She then sat forward a bit, "The war is foolish and pointless. I go on trade trips with John. When I see what my people do to Leeds, when I visit Port Jackson, I get angry." She then sat back a little and continued, "but no matter how angry I feel, I remember what father teach me that no matter how wrong someone is to you, life too short to hate." She admired the rings on her finger and smiled. Maintaining the smile, she looked to Christopher and remarked, "that is why I choose Zoner life after John show it to me."
She took another sip of her wine, her glass emptied after the last sip. She refused the refill asking for tea instead.
"If you seeking Zoner way, it is difficult at times but we enjoy our peace. Is that why you explore it?"
