If you want to twitch and shape an existing faction, you are going to need a huge amount of RP in-game and in-forums, doing this is like creating a whole new faction, so RP wise, no one knows you, you can declare being neutral to certain faction, but you dont know how such faction will react.

You declare being allied with gaians, but what if the NLH decides that they dont like your approach and decide to not let you dock at their bases, because that could affect their image in Sirius on a way they dont like?

Before twisting a faction that way, make sure you have your diplomats ready because you are gonna need them.
