What about the Gaians? and populating that part of sirius (please read)

There is not a single thing in the Gaian infocard that suggests they are 'pro-bretonian' in any way. They were cambridge scientists that went militant, & being an eco-group in a space faring civilization, 'environment' includes space as well as land...because the gaians were never intended to be anything other than shallow filler outside of the main storyline, they are tiny & centered where they are. If the Gaians had the freedom to expand outside Bretonia they would fight for the eco-system no matter where they are...& nationality has no relevance whatsoever.

Lets face it, because they lack a compelling backstory & are called the Gaians simply because that's what the developers wanted to call 'em before they moved on to other parts of the project they deemed more important. With the little infocard we have to work with, there ain't much a person can do with 'em unless they fill in the blanks with what is already given. Many people don't give them much thought beyond what's offered, play as a gaian for a while & get bored only to dump them and go make a character in a faction that has a richer story to it (& therefore, more members) & that's why Gaians have never become significant ::shrug::

Besides, unless/until Igiss mandates a change to the basic Gaian info, we have to all deal with what we got weither we can all agree on it or not.

So, if we ever get the go ahead to update the basic infocard then that is one of the things that should change for the sake of realism, but that's not present reality. Until that day we can change it, the green front will commonly be seen on the news & enjoy more support within society than the mollies as a portion of the bretonian gov't tolerates them in order to not antagonize their Cambridge constituents...besides, this is freelancer & we are surrounded on all sides by unrealisim::
