Good day Hackers!

Stevenys W. Johnson reporting for duty. First of all yes, you can call me Steve, Stevy and all the variants. Everyone does that. At least until I get my alias. Also this is the part when I speak about myself. Lets see, where to begin... Maybe with grandfather. He was a shareholder at Ageira. Also he was dead before I born. My father sworn for him to keep the family reputation as it is. Abel W. Johnson was dedicated his life for the company.

Now I could tell some sad stoy about the child abandoned by parents because of work things and stuff. But I wont. Basicly because it was completely all right for someone who prefers having parties, surfing on neural, pirate holotains and such. Note that I lived in Los Angeles. That place is certainly not as boring as it seems. Anyways when I was seventeen I got my licence and a flashy starflea to fun around. Well I knew instantly that space is ment for meeting intresting, wierd and fun people. So I started spending every weekend on different planet, station and later system while mapping the places for parties, food, aphrodisiacs and nice local chicks. When there was a longer vacation at school, I wandered some places real far away - as I experienced that the farther I go the stranger the people I met.

Well, everything has to end once - my good life ended when father finaly realized that I wont gradutate, as I found that Manhattan University is a real boring place and it's not worth for the effort. He took my appanage thus making me work. Well I must say a Johnson can't just take any job at whim. Dad would have been mad if I'd join the junkers for example. And also for a kid who's well avare of his needs it is an obvious choice to rely on dadys contacts and influence. So I came to Ageira. I only demanded to not sit behind a desk, or screw with the hards and softs. My father for a reply forbade me to attend to fighter-escort training. To be precise he made me clear that if I try hell get me fired in no time. Anyways for makeing a compromise I became a freighter pilot.

Do you know how intresting it is to trade on the tradelanes? "Just as your holotain is" -thats what fellow company haulers told me. Well, that was something I just could not accept. So I called all my friends, to call all their friends to join the Secret Inter-Sirius Party in my cargo hold. Hilarious times were those. Perhaps another time I'll tell some good stories about that period. Maintaining it took a couple hundred units of cargospace based on the need of passngers on every landing. The loss on income were of course payed from my pocket. Later I just claimed that evil pirates took the cargo from me. That worked for a while. Than my usual haunter got me again - I got bored. And for maintaining my interst, things slowly started to became wierder. The people who were on the ship. The food we got. The drugs we took. The systems we were in. At the end I started to make sidetrips with umm, unlogged cargo. That was a relief after paying my losses, that my lifestile actualy started to be rewarding.

And how the story ends you ask? Suddenly and sadly. Dad died. It was an accident. To be precise an unidentified civilian vessel with no IFF or ID accidentaly spaced him in New York. Snac and over. For what? If I'd pay more attention on him or Ageira, maybe I'd know the answer. Now I dont. Also I realised that they are after me as well. The collegaues who I've been paying for keeping my secrets secret are stopped accepting my donations. I had to escape and disapear. Erie was an obvious choice for that. You know I know a bordello on that planet where... well, I won't bore anyone with deatils.

I guess now the right thing would be to shake my fist at Sirius, and swear to find out what happened and avenge my father's killers. But for now you must know that I'm not that kind of guy. Curiousity is still killing me yes, the sorrow well, thats another thing. Father was blind for sure. Maybe I was too but not the way he was. I could always imagine how rotten this construction and the state of Liberty can be. I just never realy belived that one can make a difference. But fellows, It looks like that maybe I'll find that faith amongst you.
