A 3rd Beginning
_______________

Gordon Fox' hotel room, Manhattan

For months of bad dreams, lack of sleep and being desperate to earn money again,
Gordon sat in his sofa smoking some fresh cardamine he just bought from
a local cardamine dealer down the shopping mall, he took deep breaths
and enjoyed every second.

Next second, a pair of police officers kicked the door in.

"Freeze! Don't move a muscle!"

Gordon dropped the cardamine on the floor and slowly raised his hands.

The police officer put handcuffs on Gordon and walked him out of the hotel.

1 week later.

Gordon now sat on a prison liner on the way to Alaska where he was going to be for
20 years, the cardamine dealer was a police officer undercover and set him up,
but Gordon didn't care anymore, he was broke, lonely and had nothing to lose.

The prison liner had no windows so he had no clue where they were taking him,
in next moment, the alarm sounded, Order ships were attacking the prison ship and some of
them boarded the ship. Gordon heard blaster shots just on the other side of the cell and
some short screams from those who got hit, the Order marines had reached the control
room and opened all the cells.

"Let's go, let's go! Run to the ship." One of the Order soldier shouted.

Gordon reacted and followed the other running prisoners, they all jumped into
the Order boardingship and took off.

30 minutes later when everyone's adrenaline faded.

"So what is your name dude?" The guy next to Gordon asked.

Gordon- "Gordon, Gordon Fox."

"What did you do to get caught, you a Xeno?"

Gordon- "I smoked some of that wonderful orange dust." Gordon said in a low voice.

"Cardamine, that's cool, never tried it before."

The guy on the other side of Gordon asked: "Gordon, I've heard that before, you're that
rich dude from Omni Industries, you helped the Xenos."

Gordon- "You guys Junkers?" Gordon didn't care what they were.

"Haha, lucky you we're not, most of us are Xenos, they never transport Junkers, Rogues, Outcasts and
whatever together with Xenos, it would turn into a helluva bloody fight."

Planet Toledo, home of the Order.

Gordon sat at the window as they approached the planet, one strange thing that caught his attention
was a half damaged battleship, it was offline, Gordon looked closer, it said Omni Industries on the ship.
Hmm, strange. Gordon tought. He suspected it was the Liberator Omni sold to the Navy a year ago,
it brought back some old toughts.

On solid ground, Planet Toledo.

Gordon walked in a fast pace towards an Order guard.

Gordon- "I need to speak with one of your superiors, it is very important."

The Order guard recognized Gordon's face. "Mr.Fox, welcome to Toledo, please follow me."

They walked into an office room. "Major, this is Mr.Fox, he's one of those we got from the prison ship,
he said he had something of great importance to tell."

Gordon shaked the Majors hand. "What do you have?"

Gordon- "I have 2 questions, 1; why did you break us out, 2; what is that battleship outside?"

"Some of the prisoners were Order pilots we did not want to lose, and the ship,
it was a Navy ship who tried to attack us, we're sending salvage teams to recover it
and restore it, why are you so interested in a ship?

Gordon- "Because I have owned it and know how it works."

"Maybe you can help us to repair it."

Gordon- "Well of course I can, but I need to borrow a computer."

"That can be fixed, lieutenant, show this man to a computer."

"Right away, sir. This way mr.Fox."

"And get him some new clothes."

Gordon looked at his yellow prisoner suit. "Yeah, a pair of clothes would be very appreciated, thanks."

Arthur,

I need your help, I am at some Order base, yes the terrorist base. I need you to gather some people
loyal to Omni and bring them here. However, they are friendly, I want to bring Omni back again
and earn money like in the good old days. I'm sending the coordinated to Toledo.

Also, get in touch with Greg Weathers, the chief of Omni Security.

Your friend Gordon.

"Are you done, mr.Fox?"

Gordon- "Yeah I'm done."

"I got your clothes, I can show you to the barracks where you can change."

Order barracks.

Gordon looked in the mirror, the Order uniform did not suit him at all, he wished he had a tie.

Gordon- "Lieutenant, some friends of mine might show up, can you inform the Major?"

"Ok wait here."

End of part one.
