Written report on Standard Patrol Cruise Three, and Destruction of the LNS Bastion by Captain Reynold Fletcher

My hands shake as I write this, what might be my last report. I'm not sure wether the others survived or not. I gave the order to go to the life pods as it became apparent that their would be no chance, none at all...of any chance at victory...or...or escape. X X

As we went into the battle everyone was trembling with fear...I tried to show none and to keep a strong face for the crew, but everyone was thinking they were about to die. As the first shots we traded with The Joker went out we fared poorly, hands shaking and the crew's reactions were slow. X X X

Then our training kicked in...and we began to give back as best we could. I'm not sure what the problem was but our main turrets targeting software was somehow off, despite being tuned earlier that day. I'm not sure if that is what caused our defeat or not, we won't know, since the Bastion is gone... X X X X X X

Oh god...I hope someone can find the crew's escape pods...
