As a pirate, I've found that I quite often get asked to escort traders. It tends to go something like this:

Me: Kill your engines trader. This is your unlucky day, cos I'm gonna strip you bare!

Trader: Ok, ok. What do you want. I am but a simple trader trying to make an honest living.

Me: Honest?! Hahahah! *scans cargo* Blimey, 5000 units of silver ore eh? Looks like it's my lucky day! You gonna have to dig deep into those pockets of yours and find 5 million credits, or you're gonna be crawling back to your bosses with nothing but space dust..........

Trader: Weeellllll........................ how's about you escort me to where I'm going, that way I don't lose out more than once. I'll pay you 8 million to get me safe to Narita.

Me: 8? For escort duty? You got yourself a good idea there lad! Half now, and half on your safe delivery to Narita. Deal?

Trader: Deal. I hope that junkheap of yours can hold its own against bombers.......................

So, if you can't find an escort from the folks around you, just ask the first pirate you run into!

I offered someone today while pirating them.. and they sure needed it. But meh what we do best is complain and say we dont have and we want and need

Yea we need cap ships and we need credits and better economy and more escorts and better skills.. Did i forget anything else to rant about? oh right .. more models and food for the corsairs.
