Mission objectives:

Primary: Map Jump hole anomolies in California where reports of Liberty Navy ships moving to and from as a rumored possible link to Virginia system.

Secondary: Scout and patrol Texas system and attempt to ascertain the reported jump gate to Virginia system located there.

Tertiary: Engage and destroy hostile contacts that interfere with the mission objectives.

Mission Personnel: Bobbi St. James (Light Fighter, Surveyor craft for the mapping) and Rattler as mission lead and support

:::Report:::

All objectives were completed successfully. The light surveyor craft performed the scan and mapping mission far better than expected, including dodging enemy fire from a battleship in Texas while finding a route through the mine field there. Getting back out from the mine field was more difficult as the battlehip had apparently zeroed in on my location but the ship handles exceptionally well and I made it through unscathed. In California we met no opposition and found the jump hole anomoly within the area previous scans had suggested. Immediately upon completion of the scans the data was transmitted by secure link to our headquarters in Alabama.En route to California while in New York we found a Junker in a Collector class VHF. I was able to engage and destroy him before he could put out a call for help. Shortly thereafter, a LaneHacker Gunship appeared on scanners but docked on Rochester to avoid combat. On the return to Colorado we were surprised to see that LPI is packing bigger hardware. The LPI agent we ran across was in an LABC battlecruiser. Still, the LPI acted typically and called for support against my light fighter before Rattler had appeared on our scanners. Rattler engaged the cattlebruiser while I took on the Cutlass. Immediately afterward I was engaged by a Liberty Rogue fighter, which badly damaged a wing. With two guns down and maneuvering sluggish, the rogue got me. I ejected in time and Rattler was able to transit my escape pod back to Ouray.
