I give you one star for effort but take it back because you fail to realise that Discovery was never made for people to just PvP all the way without a RP element. For any pure PvP game to truly succeed, there needs to be some kind of reward for winning. However, this reward cannot come in the form of overpowered weapons or ships otherwise old players will be unfairly advantaged and no one will want to play. Also, PvP requires a strictly regulated environment that ensures fair play. This is impossible in open space. Discovery is about more than just shooting and killing. Restricting it as such limits player options and in my opinion wouldn't be very popular. As most have already pointed out, the player base is simply too small. To further limit the game to PvP only means that you won't have enough players for any sustained gaming experience.
