Order in house space

We have a hard time going anywhere due to hostilities related to our corsair allegiance. This is a topic of discussion among order high command, lately - should we cancel our allegiance with the corsairs in order to find allies elsewhere, in particular groups like the blood dragons and bundschuh?

There are semi-good relations between the order and rheinland lawfuls, but not enough so that we're really welcome there, especially not with any of our larger craft.

Personally, I dont see what we really gain from being allies of the corsairs - they rarely assist us, they constantly 'steal' ships that we've denied them, they are not open to the idea of co-use of weaponry (order using corsair weapons and vice versa), and our allegiance with them makes us enemies with a lot of factions we could benefit from allying with.

The Corsairs also drag us into the outcast-corsair war, which we really want no part in. Similarly, being allied with the hogosha makes absolutely no sense - the kusari government doesnt really want us around despite those ties, and the hogosha offer us nothing; they wont even let us use their fighter when it's requested. Blood dragons, IMO, would be a far more beneficial ally - having a light fighter we could greatly benefit from, as well as a base and heavy presence in tohoku where tekagi's arch is. They also helped us greatly during the nomad war and, IMO, are far more honorable and trustworthy than even the kusari lawfuls.

Through the blood dragons, we could easily establish under-the-table deals with the Gas Miner's Guild in order to procure more resources for our own ships, and we would have access to the sigmas and through them to rheinland space where the wilde are most concentrated.

Within Rheinland, the bundschuh are our traditional allies according to the campaign. They dont really have much to offer in terms of ships/weaponry or assistance, however, but they do have bases within rheinland we could use for resupply, and through their political party we could gain some amount of control within the rheinland government in order to monitor and seek out infected individuals.

We also need to find allies within bretonia to monitor the bases in newcastle and chester. Which faction that should be, I'm not sure...
