You say nothing new for us and I think for the rest of players, and sure we had miles away points of view.

Maybe you didn't get the point, you are in fact according to your official faction request, a pirate faction, maybe could it be inside the Corsair nation since Corsairs need to loot in order to gain resources not avaible in Crete for example, but I can't really see a difference between Sails inside the corsairs or being a pirate IDd faction except for the use of Corsair bases and equipment and of course the same corsair diplomacy.

Provably the only thing we cannot support is the slave thing... can't imagine a descent form Hispania being some kind of slave, the history from romans to the present demonstrates that those kind of people can't be conquered, thats the spirit of the corsairs taked into a count by the original game too.

About the ranks*, the ship restriction and the internal organisation, matches pretty well, I like specially the name of the ranks*.
