Yev, please, do not insult the beliefs of our fellow Zoners of the TAZ, and I think that I have seen in some channel, one I have read on occasion, a kind of evidence that Eris is not a purely virtual goddess at all. Now, while I do not think that blasphemy is something we should care about in most cases this kind of deity could prove to be troublesome - a living goddess, or whatever she is, could bestow us all with "curses" I do not want to imagine right now. I would rather suggest to put the research on "The Entity called Eris" into the queues of Corinth. I would be eager to find some truths about her existence.
Fellow Zoners, there is only little important left I could add to Mr Cross' explanation right now, but one thing I would like to emphasize, although it should be clear from the recent past, and although some might be using the demagogic power of mere slogans to convince you from the opposite:
The Zoner factions TAZ, OSI and ZTC DO NOT and WILL NOT use their power in order to try to dissolve anything. We Zoners, and everything we have achieved, have always relied on the voluntary efforts of every Zoner individual, and we all should still enforce this attitude and live by it. The factions are still working by this principle, there is no force, and there shall be none, but every Zoner and thus every Zoner group has the fundamental right to decide on their fates. The factions have decided to abandon the CoZ, and they decided to provide a platform for independent Zoners, so they created the Zoner Union of Independents, BECAUSE they did not want to force the CoZ to change its name - they simply appreciated and are doing still that the CoZ delegates acknowledge the fundamental change VOLUNTARILY which was caused by the factions' pullout. Sadly it did not happen.
The former CoZ was endorsed by the courtesy of the TAZ, and especially this endorsement, unique in Sirius, legitimatized the CoZ' power. When the TAZ members have left this council, along with those of the OSI and the ZTC , they took this authority away with them. This should be clear to everybody. The assembly formerly bearing the power to represent all organized Zoners has changed, and as much as its power was labelled CoZ once, this label cannot sustain anymore because this unique power has left too, so claiming this label still means to pretend to have the power of the former CoZ.
Even with this good cause at hand, which is reflecting nothing else but the abuse of power, the Zoner factions still do not want to force the CoZ remainders to accept the factions' proposal to disband their current political bod, and to join the recently announced and endorsed assembly by conviction. But judging the defiance of the remaining CoZ Delegates to trust and to follow the Zoner factions into a new structure which is providing an equivalent voice for their group compared to those of the factions, still a unique feature in Sirius, this will never happen, not even by the latest proposal of Mr Lightwing to the CoZ.
Mr Al-Noori, I understand the idea behind your motion, and I am thinking the same way as you do, but I would not like to sacrifice the principle of voluntariness which bears much more value for all Zoners than the willingness of a defiant assembly to show late insight finally. I have to apologize for my interference here, but I suggest to end this motion as soon as possible.
