Average pirate demand amount? Noticing a pattern here...

As far as I'm concerned, unless the pirate belongs to a terrorist faction, demanding any more than 2 million credits is absurd. Trade routes are not nearly as profitable as they used to be, and in most cases the pirate is taking most, if not all, of the profit that the trader would make with his cargo.

For terrorist type factions like the xenos, you dont care about money, you have an ulterior motive, and thus you want to stop that trader from making any money, through the demand and destruction of all cargo. However, there are few factions which deserve that right.

The problem I see nowdays is that pirates want to make as much money as traders or miners, without doing any of the work. That attitude needs to be done away with.
