The place names in freelancer are named after places which exist. That much is clear. However in freelancer there is no America, no Russia, no Germany, no United Kingdom, no Iran...

Thus, so long as the name has relevance to the freelancer universe then it is prefectly alright to use a name.

What I don't wish to see are people named [UK]Dave[UK] or Gunboat.of.Doom[CRO], as that creates little groups of players who only speak their native language with one another. That is not what this server is about.

However, given the naming conventions in the four houses, and out in the omicrons as well, using real place names as a ship name is acceptable.

Stating YOUR nationality through a ship name is not.
