On behalf of my former captain, Tim Finnegan, and his bonny crew, I am begging for your aid.
See, The surly old man was on a mission to Kusar space a while back, a delicate one which I cannot expound upon. Well, while the Cap'n is known to not give a whit about deadlines, his check-in date came and went without so much as a whistle. This was weeks ago.
The last time he went missing it turned out the Colonials had him. Our sources within the =CR= tell us they've no idea where he is either.
We've tapped our contacts with the Dragons and the Chrysanthemums, and they're looking but thier scope is limited.
It's been almost a month now, and normally we wouldn't panic, but the Lane Hackers delivered a portion of a message they were able to extract from the gate-net. Here is the broadcast in it's entirety;
This was recieved from somewhere in the Hoshu area, we think.
Now, Knowing the comm array on the Spyglass class warbird he captains, signal strength should be off the charts. It's not, and we can only assume the worst.
As representative of the entire Clan Gordon of Inverness, I would request your aid in our search for the Duke of Gordon, Tim Finnegan. I know you've worked together in the past and am hoping that old loyalties will be payment enough. If not, perhaps other terms can be worked out.
At any rate, my contact list is barely dented so I'd best get back to pullin' strings.
I look forward to your response.
Acting Portsmaster, Invergordon Station and former Engineer of the Wake,
Connor Sinclair.
