I'm proud to announce that our two last incorporations to the Katana Wing have done an increible job already flying the Umibozus. Just in her first day on the ship, Daii Okanaya, flying the Shinai, and me onboard of the Raikiri, took down two outcast gunships, called Crazy and Dr_House, while we were going to assist a Samura convoy near the Yamaguchi in Tau-31. After escorting the Convoy to Seto, we moved back to Kusari. I parked the Raikiri at the Nagumo, and took out the Oda.Nobunaga, as I wanted to do a little practice with Chusa Takahashi, who was flying for first time his Umibozu. Unfourtanely, I couldn't accomplish with the practice, as Junko Okanaya was being attacked by another Trident, one by the name of Doni-Brassco. Hours after that, we got a distress call from planet New Tokyo, saying that there was an outcast battleship attempting to attack the surface of the planet. The Bakumatsu was launched to start an immediate attack on the threat. Daisa Sakai showed up in his Katana, as well as we counted with the assistance of a Farmer. With the Bakumatsu striking in range, and both of the bombers landing supernovas on it, we controled the situation, and we harmed it, making it lose integrity. On a desperate attempt to hurt our nation, the outcasts pointed their ship to the planet, trying to crash it on the surface. But it never got to it, as the atmosphere of the planet burned the few rests of it. Chandelier archive.
Onboard of the Bakumatsu, we headed to Seto, on a delivery mission. We were to pick up a piece of equipment for the Battleship Edo, currently under construction. In our way, we ran into another Trident, callsign Crazy, seems the outcasts are mass producing this kind of ship, with the same setup. They pilots must be unexperienced as well, as they tried to attack the Bakumatsu. There were no way that they could have done it alone, and the result of the fight left no doubt. Crazy archive 2.
After deliverying the package, I left the Bakumatsu at Kure shipyard to provide it some repairs. I got on the Niigata, and moved to the encounter of a Farmer ship who was calling us for help. Apparently there was a Liberty Siege Cruiser trying to destroy it. We got to the scene, and there actually was a Siege Cruiser, which oddly belong to the IMG. I took a declaration from the Farmer, and then I talked with the Cruiser's captain. One and the other claimed the same thing, that boths were attacked by the other. As there was no way to assure who was right, I took no action on any part. But, I had to ask the Cruiser's captain to remove his ship from Kusari space, as it was in a clear violation of our Laws. When we attempted to move the Niigata back to planet New Tokyo, another Trident showed up, one by the name of Scull-Crusher, which was attacking a KSP ship. When we got to the area, the KSP vessel was already destroyed. I ordered to attack the gunship immediately, and it finnaly was destroyed. Scull-Crusher archive.
Once I got to New Tokyo, I got anoter distress call from Kyushu, where a transport was being attacked near the Tau 29 gate. Apparently, it was another of those Crazy tridents. When I got there, the Nagumo was already attacking the outcast ship, but it managed to jump to Tau 29, where I followed. Once in the other system, we caught it between the lanes from the gate to Nago. I attacked its shields with screamers, and hit its hull with supernovas, until its hull finnaly gave up, and the ship blown into pieces. Not before they called for backup, and another Trident, this one by the name of Dr_House, came to assist them, but, as I already stated, they lack of skills to fly that kind of ship.

To finish with the report, while I was on the Kure shipyard, the engineers informed me that the hull of the Battleship Edo is already done, and it's ready to fly.
