All ships! This is the RNC Shadel! We were orbiting in Cella Dor's shadow, watching the Areus' back. But these guys came in to attack directly! Several torpedos hit the Areus, and they fired everything they had into the engine and the bridge. They just fled into the Nebula, out of sensor range. We've scrambled a fighter wing to track them down, but..

*Klaxon*

S***! Tracking several inbound hostiles! A mixture of Corairs and Outcasts, and one strange Nomad ship! Gunners, to your stations! Hostiles have launched torpedos!

*Explosion and static*

Alert! We've taken several hits! We've lost turrets 9 and 10, and life support to several decks! Our shields are down, and our hull is buckling! Please respond! Any ships in the area, we are under...

The ships are fleeing into the nebula! We're alive, barely. We've taken heavy damage, and lost a lot of crew. Two turrets are slagged beyond repair, our main engine pods are down, life support was lost to all lower decks, and i've lost over half my crew.
