Why do you think I introduced a doubled leadership (RM/MND) to this faction proposal? To prevent this power to be abused. With the acceptance to be official a factions gains certain rights and duties, as well as responsibilities. This one is special, as it is easy to abuse. So I decided it would be best to let several people control this faction.

Wait... what worrie me the most is not power abuse. I'm sure all the RM and all the accepted MND players will be very good ones, very respectfull of fair play etcetera. I'm more worried about the possible confusion; it can happen also to a very good player to role-play in the wrong way the charachter if he has not (as a player) all the relevant information. This double hiding can lead, even good players in error, that's my point. And nobody wants good players to be pissed of.

Still... it's just my very personal opinion... no need at all to be agressive, please... :)

To get in, you need to prove yourself worth it. Any problems with that?

EVERYBODY can make an independent MND char... ever seen independent Phantoms or SCRA? So I think it is just fair to claim some elitism for this one.

That's a different point: is really needed to be un-tagged to add something to role-play? The tag informs the players about faction but it does not inform the characters!

A good player confronting with a tagged MND wearing a different rep will make his char reacting in accordance to the rep and not to the tag. That's my point: the tag is an info for players; it's not something the charachter can know. That's the reson why I think the tag issue has nothing to do with role play, at least confronting good players... bad players are not an issue here, as you said.
