Helghast Message Dump

**This is IMPORTANT INFO all should read. It explains alot about the Helghast and who we are**

The Helghast are a group of coalition survivors send out to destroy the Sleep ships. They traveled for many years through spaces and when the finaly found them sevles in the Sirius Sector, they were attacked by a large nomad force and their ship was crippled. They were in a strange system far from any encountered in sirius thus far and they were force to make a crash landing on a Planet Aplty name "Helghan." It was a planet covered in large volcanoes and constantyl suffered from earthqukes that could topple the sturdiets of citties. Its atmosphere was a un-breathable soup of Methane, and biological organisms that created a mix so toxic it would kill 99% of humans in 5 minutes, their bodys failing as the air corroded it away. The other 1% would live and their bodies would mutate into advance beings that were five times stronger then any nomal human alive could ever be.

The Colition survivors were traped on board their ship. They managed to survive for 5 years, the strongest killing off the Weekest and ration food and resorting sometiems to canibalism. By the time the five years had passed, their last of the plentiful food suplies were gone and they survivors had to do soemthing. The could not find out what. One day, a Helghast, as thats what they now called them selves for they had left behind their coalition ties to survive, found a large hole in the side of their ship. That hole had been their for a month already. The hole was in a section of the ship that was mostly sealed off cept for a small centimeter wide gap in under the door to the room.

The Helghast were horrrified. They hyad been breathing in the chemicals of the atmosphere for a long time now and they expenced they would die. But when the oxygen recylers failed after many years of service, the survivors new that they no longer depended on oxygen to live. They opened the air locks and steped out into the now hospitable world and set to work.

After 25 years, they had built a steady comunity and they had explored many of their planets continents using the open topped shuttle craft from the Sleeper ship. They knew they would survive.

After one hundred yeas had passed since they Landed on Helghan. They had covered the entire planet with colonies and they had started to build space capable craft from the old designs of their sleeper ships. And within another year or so, they had acheived space flight once again. They set out to explore their home system and soon discovered jump holes. They followed them for many systems until they found them sets in the Omicron Delta system.

They met up with the corsairs and quickly learned about the state the Sirius Sector was in. Quickly they established areas on the corsair bases where they could live, setting up Recyclers to create the strange mix of chemicals the Helghast needed to survive. From there, they send small parties and were able to explore most of the Sector and establish a good relation ship with the Hessians and the Junkers. They build a small but effective fleet back on their Home planet, Helghan and set their lives in the populated regions of sirius as Raiders, striking ahrd and fast. Any civillian ship to see the Helghast were killed and the millitaries kept their info a scret to the General public.

Back on Home, Helghan was filling up. The relativly empty land was being populated on and they need more room. They build space stationsbut it was not enough. They needed a new planet on which to colonise. Unfortuantly all the Planets in sirius were oxygenated, and Helghast could not survive.

Scientists on Helghan came up with a weapon, shortly after this problem was pitched. It was a massive gun that fired shells containg chemichals and organisms. These, once they got into the atmosphere of an oxygen rich planet, would spread out and consume the living matter. Once it was consumed by the Organisms in the air, the soils would be rich in bodies of the decesased and decaing matter. The plants that were native to Helghan would imedatly start to grow and the planet would under-go an extenive terraformation and within days, would be Inhospitable to human Life and the Helghast could live there at their leisure. They had dropped everything about their former Coalition humans, for they had risen above the regular humans and knew that the Coalitionw as weak, and they were strong.

This weapon was pretty localised and would require to be fired upon a target planet aroudn the Size of Helghan for at least an hour to put the right amount of Bio-agent Into the air. They devised a ship so big and massive that it would be unstoppable, all they needed now was to create a fleet to assist it and They would become the next terror of the Galaxy....
