The Cruiser Forward Cannon is either same power of a SNAC but at faster speed and faster RoF like the BD one or it's even more powerful then the SNAC at still a faster speed and RoF, but very draining on energy. I can hit a sabre with the projectile speed of a SNAC, these move faster. (yeah if a small ship actually comes close to me they can even be in danger of being hit by my 600m/s Mortar too) I don't find anything inherently wrong with either Cruiser Cannons and they play their role well.
