The houses all have vested interest in each other, if we polarised the war like that the economy would come to a grinding halt.
While Liberty would feel sad for losses caused from war to both sides, I would say they will be concentrating on reducing their own in their war efforts.
You know I don't think it would turn out like that at all... I don't know just thinking Rheinland wouldn't be able to hold a 2 front war and I think rheinland Bretonian diplomacy isnt in any way shape or form near going to war we all get along just fine.. It surprised me when I saw Liberty as an ally instead of rheinland to bretonia as rheinland bretonia seemed to get a long a lot better and had more reasons to be allies.
Oh and just pointing this one out look at the MAP.... Kusari up there rheinland down stairs I don't think they would make apropriate allies and well they don't seem to be all that Huggy huggy.
Liberty might come in and assist but that would indeed cut down options for trade because they would lose the kusari option for trade however I think if Bretonia was in any form of falling completely Liberty might intervene I doubt it would suit them and their lil money making to lose an ally like bretonia.
As for Leeds falling I sincerely doubt it I think the armed forces will push the Kusari out of Leeds and Bretonia will regain stokes etc. An to be honest I think bretonia is a more suited ally with rheinland just seems like they have more to offer each other you never know rheinland and bretonia might just become even more friendly and well if Liberty gets annoyed well they will just have to live with it I doubt they would declare war on bretonia for having friends and securing its future survival an keeping its back closer to a wall than an open field.
I'm also of the opinion though Liberty isn't quite as all powerful as it thinks it is.. I mean it has money yes so does a lot of other factions *cough* gallia she's bigger and better we just don't know that yet *cough* I don't think Liberty has the capacity to play the role of the UN as it isn't the united nations protecting civilians there is nothing in anything i've read that gives the opinion Liberty gives a hoot about other peoples civilians or even having the mentallity that it is the sort of house to come in and serve and protect refugees. If you want a United nations setup then make make something like the UHS United houses of sirius we should then give a veto to a neutral party or make the head of the UHS be voted in give them the Veto that way the houses can't all go Snap veto i don't like that an unlike the UN in the real world this would actually work um and gallia doesnt get a vote because we don't know it that well and it wants to kill everyone... point is though Liberty are not peace keepers they look out for one person really LIBERTY or so it seems to me...
Long story short I don't imagine liberties point of view is very chivalrous even if they can take 2 houses at once I doubt they would come in and help bretonia only maybe if bretonias fleets were all lost and scattered but there not. Haha I imagine rheinland running in to help a neighboring house with its navy more than liberty.
