Hal Skye was working on the engines of his Bounty Hunter Gunship with the assistance of the new mechanic/pilot, Rasori Canus, when the Mandalore approached him.
Hal put down his tools and stood at attention.
"Relax son, we aren't precisely military. At all."
Bishop walked slowly around the ship. "Nice bird.", he remarked, "You still have to give her a proper name."
Hal nodded. "I just haven't thought of a good one yet, sir."
"Bad luck for a ship to not have a name.", responded William.
Hal nodded again.
Bishop turned to the pilot and emphasized his next point with a pointed finger. "You absolutely must not use this thing against the House Militaries of Kusari or Rheinland. The Bounty Hunters Guild will make soup with my gonads if that happens."
Hal gulped. That was an unpleasant thought.
Bishop turned to leave, then stopped. "Oh yeah, one other thing." He pulled something from his pocket, and pinned it to Hal's shoulder.
"Can't have warriors flying gunships, eh, Alor'ad? Would send the wrong message." He winked, then shook the promoted pilot's hand.
"You log a lot of hours. Keep it up, son."
He then walked away. Canus gave Skye a thumbs up. Sometimes the Mandalorians weren't big on ceremony for field commissions, but a promotion was a promotion all the same.
"NAME your SHIP!", the Mandalore yelled from across the hanger as he left.
