You are right we are here to play for fun and sometimes we should be considerate in numbers. Point taken.
Yet especially when it comes to these new recruits who constantly receives the same "fair treatment" by the Corsairs, its pretty hard to teach them to "turn the cheek". Which is a rather funny concept by the way.
But sure, I can understand what you say.
As for the "minimum RP one line rule." I'm not saying that to say -everyone- should follow this mentality. I'm saying that some people settle for swift, and within the rules conversations and then proceed to combat. And I'm saying that is COMPLETELY FINE, if they wish to play that way. Others enjoy longer conversations, good for them.
Sometimes two different mind-sets clash, like perhaps your encounter with these Hessians. Then so be it, you leave with some dignity after that encounter and say to yourself, that some people might not share the perspective you have on Role-Play. I do not find it respectable to just storm in here and say that they completely lack the capacity to Role-Play. If that was the case they would have been sanctioned. Clearly since they are not, they understand it well enough to not harm server game-play.
The rest of your post is a slippery slope followed by what seems to be the standard:
"Discovery is dead."
"Nobody cares about fair-play."
"RHA has lost its golden days."
