As far as I have been informed about the player ID is that you can not scan it as the two pirates did above. But a ID is the same as you have IRL, you have it in your pocket or in my case your wallet. For the Vigilante ID, I'm sure you need to check Universal employees logs to find out that I am as having a Vigilante ID in your wallet is kind of wierd. But all with all, Police ID's, Navy ect. is something like a badge.

What they did there is being considered meta gaming.

But correct me if my intel seems to be wrong.
