@ TYHPilot: Yup ... all we ever hear from these anti-pirates is the bad experiences. For ONCE I'd like to here some traders post threads with their GOOD experiences.

Well, what in-Rp reason could anyone have to mount OC and Xeno weapons on the same ship, other than the PvP advantage? While your points are valid, in this circumstance they wouldn't really apply.

They are INDEPENDENT pirates. They can pretty much have any combination they want. You might wanna ask the same question of our lawful indies. I've seen a few lawfuls flying around mixing Rheinland and Liberty tech (those houses are at war folks). Why is it these guys always gotta gripe about pirates and then turn around and give a free pass to lawfuls that do the EXACT SAME THING?

Do you even think it's possible to read all bio's and stories, as well as all weapon permissions. Of course not, yes I do know plenty of people but not all by far. Do you?

Then don't make the accusations. You are making the claim that they're flying around with equipment that they shouldn't have ... and you don't even know if they've got the approval from the faction leaders. Yes ... if you're gonna throw out accusations like that ... then you do need to read the bios and seek out the faction leaders. Otherwise ... snap the picture and file a report. What you're doing here is WRONG ... trial-by-forum my friend is NEVER a good thing. It just ticks people off.

You say I've mentioned the pirates, where? The reason I censored their names is to prevent the 'anti-kudos' from happening. And I've even made that part 'bold' ->most of<- the Freelancer Pirate ID'd players I've run into recently are a pain. It was not my intention to make all Pirate ID'd players look bad, and If I did then my apologies for that.

Oh ... good ... didn't realize you censored their names. But you do know there might be actual pirates out there with those names. You might wanna just replace their name with "name 1 censored" and "name 2 censored" so we know you've modified the text. Not to mention ... what else did you modify from that text file?

As for Freelancer IFF'd Pirate ID'd pirates ... don't you even dare throw us all in the same pile. Good way to make enemies is to generalize and stereotype. You've run into how many total? Cause you haven't come across me yet.

I'm not giving anyone a trial-by-forum as their names are blocked. Reason why I wanted to post this up is because I think there has to be more guide lines in the Pirate ID on load out. Otherwise you'll get more and more of these people.

Also the reason I sticked around them was because I like to have discussions. Should I just go ignore everybody that talks to me? I'm in-game to role play around, thats what I did with them. I just was amazed by the part where they mentioned my ID and where they didn't had any ground to attack me nor to tax me 4 million, and knew I wouldn't pay so they had a reason to engage me.

I just wanted to hear people's opinions about the ID, not those pirates their a example.

Once again, my apologies if I made you upset. Kudos to those Pirate ID'd players around that do know how it's done.

How about posting your GOOD encounters with other pirates ... eh? I'm getting tired of the negative stuff we see EVERY BLASTED DAY around here. Do any of you traders have anything GOOD to say about us pirates?

I got some kudos from a few folks in-game just this week. I wonder if I'll ever see that text in the forums?
