[Virus]

Two days prior to the destruction of the RNC Aerus.

"Virus..." a voice called from inside his own head.

Hadrian stood and looked around his ready room near the bridge of the Aerus. "Who's there?!"

"Do not be afraid commander, I am not here to harm you. Although, I cannot say the same to anyone else who comes in here." More voices inside his head.

A hooded figure, barely visible, as though it was not completely existant. "You have been chosen. Follow me."

Hadrian reached into his desk drawer for his sidearm. "Your weapons are useless against me."

Ignoring this, Hadrian fired anyway. The projectile went right into the wall across from him. Hearing the shot two security guards rushed. "I warned you, Commander."

The hooded figure made its way slowly across the room towards the guards. It reached out what could be considered an arm. The two men convulsed violently, screaming, then dropped to the ground. Dead.

Virus watched in horror as the creature killed his men. "This is unacceptable! You are to leave now!"

"Commander, do you think I take orders from pathetic races, unfit to live? But I admire your ability to manipulate these other ones." The hooded figure turned its dark head to look right into Virus' soul. "Your perfect." It came up upon him, cold grey eyes staring down on him. It opened its cloak and wrapped it around him.

"Wait! What are you--" Virus' screams fell short. The creature now had his mind, his body, and his sight. With a double voice, the creatures and Virus' own, it said softly to itself, "I am too well known now. They must die."

Slowly they walked to the hangar. Slowly they climbed into the fighter. Slowly they started the engine. Slowly they shot out the hangar doors. Slowly they watched the crew in there die. Then slowly, they took flight.

On Freeport 9; 2 days and 12 hours prior to the destruction of the RNC Aerus.

"We need an Eagle."

"We do have one for sale. One of the newer models, quite expensive. If you wish, I can show you, and come up with a price after you trade in your current ship."

"We have a Rheinland Military Wrath. Brand new, no damage."

"I... You can have the Eagle. That ship is a marvel. Its not often I get to work with a Military craft."

"Good. Show us the Eagle."

"One question, why do you always say 'we'?"

Back at the Aerus; 2 hours before destruction.

{From the Aerus}
We are under attack! Requesting immediate back-up. It seems to be an Eagle and a Nomad fighter. There are more ships on long-range scanners, possibly Corsair or Outcast fighters.

To all in the immedaite area, we are at Planet Cella Dor in the Omicron Gamma system, please assist.

Virus' new Eagle turned towards the Aerus. Guns blazing at him, he launched two Nova Torpedoes, one into the engines and one into the bridge.

"The Aerus is down, have fun with the Shadel, DarkStar. We're out of here."

He hovered a few moments watching the Aerus drift into the atmoshpere of Cella Dor, then turned and activated his cruise engines.
