I've been mining in Dublin with a friend of mine for a while. The mining wasn't all that much fun, although I bet it could have been - but crossing all the Bretonia, Rheinland and Omega systems was the most challenging and most fun - all we had was a mining ship and my Mafic. It would be great if there was something like Hydrocarbons to mine in Omega-3. Though the system is already busy anyway.

Only thing I noticed about Omega-7 - it has always been one of the smallest, if not the smallest system in Sirius. Sometimes the mining fields - I think the Daumann ones - are quite close to the station. So with some cheap armor upgrade and the usual motherload of repair kits it's easy to run to safety from groups of up to 3 pirates because of the epic amount of armor and short running distance.
