I've been mining in Dublin with a friend of mine for a while. The mining wasn't all that much fun, although I bet it could have been - but crossing all the Bretonia, Rheinland and Omega systems was the most challenging and most fun - all we had was a mining ship and my Mafic. It would be great if there was something like Hydrocarbons to mine in Omega-3. Though the system is already busy anyway.

Far as I know, you can. Great yield, but really risky considering the BMM's proximity to the O-5 hole. Profit for the hydrocarbons is so-so, but it's a quick five minute jaunt in the field and you've got a full load

What's funny is that the risk is even less considering that corsairs coming into omega 3 will be even more surprised and confused to see mafics zipping around than the miners would be to see the corsair..
